My name is Nathan Chaffin. I’m an undergraduate research assistant in the Kirchberger lab. I am coming from the Nutritional Sciences Department where I was involved in gut microbiome research, and I am interested in learning about the viral component of microbiomes. Specifically, I am looking forward to researching bacteriophages and the effects they produce on the bacteria they infect.
